About Us

Curious Records is an independent record label based out of Colorado. We aim to connect independent artists with audiences who are curious about their work.

Why Start and Indie Label?

Because we became frustrated and disillusioned with the money and power that governs the music industry. The platforms we use as musicians to reach our audiences (Spotify, Instagram, YouTube) are managed by billionaires who do not care about us. Their primary concern is increasing their profits. But, without our art, nobody would use their platforms in the first place. Therefore, they are exploiting us for our work and, quite frankly, we got tired of waiting around for them to change. Billionaires aren't going to save us, and their software platforms will never be able to meet every artist's needs. We don't believe that an independent record label is going to single-handedly topple these tech giants. But, if we can connect a small community of artists making cool music with audiences that actually care about them as people, then we know we're doing something that matters.
